Edge Dies - How To!

Edge Dies - How To!

I had a few customers ask me to show them how to use Stampin' UP! edge dies, so I coupled that request with having class with Father's Day and  more male themed cards for the month of June. I hope you'll use this as inspiration to create some beautiful cards!

Card Size: 4 ¼” x 5 ½” (Top fold card)

Instructions

  1. Cut a piece of Mossy Meadow card stock to 4 ¼ x 11; score on the 11” side at 5 ½”. This will be a top fold card.
  2. Cut a piece of Old Olive to 4 ¼” x 4 ½”; cut a piece of Pear Pizzaz to 4 ¼” x 4”; cut a piece of Soft Seafoam to 4 ¼” x 3 ½” and cut a piece of Basic White to 4 ¼” x 3”.
    1. Using the Cloud border die from the Basic Border Dies set, cut the top edge of each.
    2. Adhere each layer using Stampin’ Seal or Tombo Liquid Glue
      1. On top of the Mossy Meadow card base, place Old Olive.
      2. On top of Old Olive, place Pear Pizzaz
      3. On top of Pear Pizzaz, place Soft Seafoam.
      4. Using Mossy Meadow ink, stamp the sentiment You’re Kind of a Big Deal from the Whale Done stamp set to the bottom right corner of the Basic White piece and then adhere it to the Soft Seafoam layer using Stampin’ Seal or Tombo Liquid Glue.
  1. Cut a piece of Basic White card stock to 4” x 5 ¼” and adhere to the inside of the card using Stampin’ Seal adhesive or Tombo Liquid Glue.
